Rema in India: The first Afrobeats singer to tour India

Rema, the sensational Afrobeats superstar is busy making history here and there.  Everywhere you go in the world his songs especially “Calm Down” is played over radios, airports and shopping malls.

His hottest song “Calm Down” remix featuring Selena Gomez has now hit the number six spot on the Billboard HOT 1OO. The record ascended one position from its previous peak at number seven, while continuing its appearance on the chart for 32 weeks.”

Now Rema has become the first Afrobeats singer to embark on tour in Asia sub-continent of India. He will play in India through12 to 14 May at three locations including Pune, Mumbai and Bangalore.

“As Afro-pop music, also known as Afrobeats, is becoming popular all around the world, India is catching up on it too. Singer-rapper Divine Ikubor, popularly known as Rema, is one artist for making Afrobeats go global, as his song Calm Down from his 2022 debut album Rave & Roses, became viral globally. Rema’s India tour is being organised by I Love Live Entertainment, in association with Offline guys, Yuvraj Entertainment and Grid Entertainment.
