United Nations by Emeka Chiakwelu

October 11, 2025 by AFRIPOL Leave a Comment

Of united minds

Of united bodies

Of united spirits

From different tribes and nations

A united vision was germinated and birthed

Out of a struggled passage of sorrow

A burning light of deliverance came forth

Sown in sorrow but reaped in joy

A thought of time was not lost

Be it neither in action nor in words

A vibrancy of a diligent path was opened

Let us rejoice

For voices of men and women

Can be heard from everywhere, anywhere

From the forest of Europe

To the valleys of America’s

From the savanna of Africa

To the mountains of Asia

And to the lowlands of Australia

Voices springing from end of the world, even to the villages of yonder

Then were forsaken, now blossoming

O’ sons and daughters of earth

Let’s cogitator of thinking congregates for the wisdom has been housed

Let Africans talk

Let Jews talk

Let Igbo talk

Let Arabs talk

Let Asians talk

Let Europeans talk

Let Americas talk

Let Hausa talk

Let Yoruba talk

Let Umuoji talk

Let humanity talk

Let United Nations talk

For brotherhood of humanity

Has now be hatched for now and forever more

Let peace rains like photons of sun

And love that conquered misery prevails

Daalu !
