The Two Wise Leaders From The East

Obi and Soludo

Written by Pius Okaneme

They came so that the people in the dark may have light to see their weakness. We have been living in an era when the so called Holy Ghost priests and pastors have been subjecting their adherents to all kind of exploitation. They beat the people who are already down to further strip them the ability to regain their lives. Until Fr. EbubeMuonso and Fr. Mbaka met the two wise leaders; Prof. Charles Soludo and Mr. Peter Obi, their magic unraveled.

They are the two vain priests among others including pastors who charm the gullible members of society into believing the impossible. Only for them to come out of their delusion and still meet their wretchedness. The secret of their theatrics is unfolding in broad day light. It is evident to a rational mind that they possess no ability for prophecy neither the spirituality to perform miracles.

Their so-called ‘curses’ on Prof. Charles Soludo and Mr. Peter Obi will fall empty like every of their wild utterances. They are strong men who refused to indulge in their manipulations. Nothing untoward will happen to them. They are instruments the universe has destined to come this day so that they blind will see and chase away the charlatans making their lives a burden.

Many people in Nigeria mischievously arrogate spiritual powers to themselves and go about to ruin many lives. Poverty has damaged many people psychologically and makes them susceptible to the tricks of the Holy Ghost preachers. They promise them a breakthrough from their suffering and hold them spellbound with guilt if they do not succumb to their dictates. The followers must sow seeds which often entail donating money that they do not have to these ministries. Women, especially, abandon their families and submit their loyalties to the preachers.

The response from Prof. Charles Soludo and the reaction trailing Mr. Peter Obi on their approach to bringing light to these shadowy ministries becomes very educative. People should not give in to the threat of damnation from these Holy Ghost priests and pastors. A critical observer will often stand aside and wonder if these ministers have conscience or are possessed by a devilish ambition. They surely cherish the adoration and worship their desiring followers shower on them. One is not against any gifted person milking the fruit of his or her endeavor. There is no other way of making sense of these ministers gathering a massive followership if not for their talent to convince. Nevertheless, spirituality is nothing to toy with for people are most of the time at the tail end of their hope in living when they embrace religion.
