Gov. Ganduje participated in Inauguration of Igbo leader in Kano and Names Igbo Residential Area as the new Enugu City

When Igbo in Kano honoured Ganduje, wife – The Sun Nigeria

Kano State Governor, Dr. Abdullahi  Umar Ganduje visited the Igbo community in Kano area of the popular Sabon Gari for the inauguration of the new Igbo leader Boniface Nwagu.

The governor was happy to be in the company of Igbo residents of kano. Governor Ganduje emphasized and reminded them of the long-lasting friendship among the two communities and ethnicities. He told traders and business community of Igbo extraction to take advantage of the dry port in Kano and to be importing their goods through the Dry Port in Kano.

The new inaugurated leader of the Igbo community, Nwagu thanked the governor for being a man of peace and for using his umbrella of harmony to protect all the communities in Kano.

The South East Council of Traditional Rulers in 2017 conferred a chieftaincy title of Ochizuru Oha 1 of Igbo land (General Leader) on Kano State Governor, Dr. Abdullahi  Umar Ganduje.
