The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) and its Monetary Policy Committee (MPC), led by its governor Yemi Cadaso has raised the interest rate to 26.25 percent in the struggle to combat the deteriorating inflationary trends. Chinese citizens convicted and jailed in Nigeria for illegal mining

Two Chinese citizens, Duan Ya Hong and Xiao Yi were convicted and jailed in Ilorin, Kwara State, Nigeria by Federal High Court sitting in Ilorin, for illegal mining  in the state.
