Peter Obi Emerges as Labour Party Flagbearer

Political Economist and management guru Professor Pat Utomi steps down for Obi to emerge.

The Anambra State former Governor, Peter Obi, has emerged as the flagbearer and presidential candidate of the Labour Party for 2023 Nigeria general elections.

The emergence of Peter Obi took place at Asaba, Delta State at the on going Labour Party convention. In the course of the convention Professor Utomi and another presidential candidate Joseph Faduri step down for Obi.

“Utomi said he was stepping down a younger aspirant with the capacity to effect the needed change in the Nigerian system. He said the time of the liberation of Nigeria has began with the LP primaries.”

Now the country is waiting for Peter Obi to deliver his acceptance speech.
