kizz Daniel & Tekno hit song “Buga” showcase Cameroon Flag

June 28, 2022 by AFRIPOL Leave a Comment

The duo Kizz Daniel and Tekno made a great song “Buga” that has been trending and breaking chart. This is a song that makes one to get up and boogie down ,because it is an inviting and intrusive song.

The lyrics are catchy and the beat is stimulating and tantalizing. Once you catch the bug, you are in and dancing the hilarious afrobeat song. But don’t take my word, you can ask The governor of Lagos State Sanwo Olu or President of Liberia, His Excellency George Weah. These two gentlemen could not help themselves as “Buga” bug caught them. The Liberian president made a video of himself getting down.

Another great thing on the video of the song is on how they give props to our neighborly Cameroon by showcasing their national flag. Neither Kizz Daniel or Tekno are Cameroonians. Yes, they are Nigerians and they still show some love to our Cameroonian brothers and sisters.. This gesture in music video shows comedian Oga Sabinus, who is also a Nigerian waving Cameroonian national flag. This shows that we are all one and there is no ill feelings or bad blood between the two neighborly countries.

For a while the Cameroonians especially its entertainment industry is not happy with their Nigerian counterparts because they feel that Nigeria builds a bulwark against the penetration of Cameroon music into Nigeria. It is common to see Cameroonians youtubers bashing Nigeria and in some cases asking their immigration authority to deny visa to Nigerian entertainers coming to Cameroon.

They were even lobbying their government to compel their local radio DJs to put a quota on the frequency of Nigerian songs they can play.

Therefore it is thoughtful of these Nigerian entertainers to show love , fraternity and solidarity to their Cameroonian African family. And this maybe the beginning of healing and sparkling a new romance between the countries.

Below is the video. See for yourself:
