INEC declares APC’S Oyebanji winner of Ekiti governorship Election

The All Progressives Congress, Biodun Oyebanji, has been declared the winner of Ekiti State governorship election by the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC.

According to the Returning Officer for the election, Prof Kayode Adebowale, the Vice Chancellor, the University of Ibadan, announced that Oyebanji, won the highest number of votes.

Prof. Adebowale said, “Oyebanji, having scored the highest number of votes is hereby declared the winner and returned elected as the governor-elect of Ekiti State”

The APC scored 187,057 votes while SDP followed with 82,211 votes and in the third place is the PDP, with 67,457 votes
