Husband of the killed Councilwoman Eunice Dwumfour in Sayreville New Jersey  posts Facebook tribute

Councilwoman Eunice Dwumfour shot dead in front of her house in New Jersey USA

“On Feb. 1, Dwumfour, 30, who had just completed her first year on the Sayreville Borough Council, was fatally shot inside her car outside her home on Samuel Circle in the Parlin section of town. Police found her dead, alone inside the vehicle around 7:30 p.m. Neighbors reported hearing about 10 gunshots before Dwumfour’s SUV was seen rolling down the street where it struck a parked car. Some neighbors also reported seeing a person wearing a hooded sweatshirt in the area. No suspects or motive for the killing have been announced. No arrests have been made.”

Gov. Phil Murphy   mourns the death of    Sayreville Councilwoman Eunice Dwumfour by ordering  that U.S. and New Jersey flags fly at half-staff at all state buildings and facilities on Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2023 to honor her

Gov. Phil Murphy, said:   “It is with deep sadness that we mourn the passing of Eunice Dwumfour, her death is a tragic loss for her family, friends, the Sayreville community, and our state. Tammy and I continue to pray for her loved ones and those who were fortunate enough to know her as they grieve during this difficult time. Our flags will fly at half-staff on Wednesday to honor her on the day of her memorial.”
