Argentina a nation in economic crisis gets relieve from victory over France

December 18, 2022 by Emeka Chiakwelu Leave a Comment

Argentine Messi and French mbappé.

Argentina vs France final score (Argentina won 4-2 on penalties)

Yes, finally the Argentina defeated the incredible France foot ball players. It was a sweet victory for the wary but energetic Argentina that was led by the Lionel Messi to triumph over France despite the clever and strategic enabler of kylian mbappé.

No country deserves this victory more than the country of Argentine. A nation that is mired in economic crisis which is slowly becoming reminisces of the country financial crisis of 1970s. Argentina has one of the highest inflation rates in the world at almost 93 percent and the country is on the course of reaching 100% inflation rate by the end of the year. The currency, Argentine peso has lost 30% of its value and will probably devalue further as the economic crisis rages on.

“With galloping inflation and economic stagnation pushing 43% of the population into poverty, the number of hungry children showing up to his cafeteria on the outskirts of the capital has been rising. The daily hardship…face in a poor barrio is leaving an indelible impact.”

“It’s extremely difficult for the average person to make long-term plans when their salaries evaporate so quickly. Signing a rental contract or investing in a business are risky endeavors amid so much volatility. Most Argentine workers are forced to live day-to-day, often holding several different jobs to make ends meet.”

The victory of Argentina over France will bring a lot of relieve on the faces of the country people and slide their mind and thought away from the economic problems at the moment. The smiles, joy and laughter no matter how short it might be is good distraction and allow the people to be positive and hopeful. This will also ginger the policy makers to finding a solution as optimism reins in the land.
