AfDB Boss, Adesina Jumps into Presidential Race by picking N100m APC nomination form.

Dr. Akiwumi Adesina, the President of the African Development Bank and former minister of Agriculture has solidify his interest  by acquiring the N100 million All Progressive Congress (APC) presidential nominations form by proxy.

It was reported that the representative group led by Mohammed Saleh of One Nigeria Group picked up the form on his behalf.

So far, nine candidates from South West zone including Adesina have shown interest to contest and seek presidential nomination under aegis of All Progressive Congress (APC).

In the South-West, those who have shown interest in the APC presidential contest are Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo; APC national leader, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu; Governor Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti State; Amosun; Boroffice; Mr Gbenga Olawepo-Hashim; Pastor Tunde Bakare of the Citadel Global Community Church and former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Dimeji Bankole; and Dr Akiwumi Adesina, The President of the African Development Bank.
