
Chief Dr. Victor Ide-Okoye, Ide Umuoji, a renowned business mogul and Chairman of Boston Hills Resort & Hotel, Umuoji, Anambra State, Nigeria, has been nominated to receive a prestigious Award of Recognition from the Umuoji Improvement Union (UIU).
The award ceremony is scheduled to take place on April 5, 2026, following its approval by the National Executive Committee (NEC), Central Executive Committee, and the Annual Special Assembly of the Umuoji Improvement Union, Nigeria.
According to the official communiqué, “The approval, in accordance with Article 31(b) of the UIU Constitution (2021), entitles you, should you so wish, to be elevated to the membership of the Igwe-in-Council.”
The statement further emphasized that this recognition is a long-standing tradition of the Union, aimed at honoring distinguished sons and daughters of Umuoji whose lives of service, integrity, and commitment continue to uplift the community.
Chief Dr. Ide-Okoye has received numerous accolades both in Nigeria and internationally. These include:
